Merganser and Songbird, Bavaria (Germany)

Hi,
The first pics show two Mergansers. They look like red-breasted Mergansers. Am I right? Or are they juvenile Common Mergansers(Which would be more probably to see in this area)
The next pic show an flewing Songbird. The pic´s pretty bad, but is it possible to identify this bird? Is it perhaps a Reed bunting (or maybe even a Bearded Reedling)? Or isn´t a positive ID possible?
Thanks

The first photo shows Goosander (Mergus Merganser), note the sharp border on the neck. The second photo could be a Reed Bunting but wouldn't like to call it.

The first picture is definitely of female Red-breasted Mergansers. Goosander would be a deeper brown colour and would show a clear cut white throat patch.

Well I must get to the opticians then. If I saw them myself I would have put them down as Goosander. There seems to be a sharp neck border as opposed to the more diffuse border of RBM. Oh well

The bird on the right does appear to have a more distinct neck border but both birds lack the distinct white chin patch typical of Common/Goosander.

OK, thanks. Both are Red-breasted Mergansers.
But what about the other bird? Is it a Reed Bunting or not to identify?

Thanks for the links, Andrew. I think I've been swayed.....just. I agree with RBM now although the ones I've seen in the past looked more obvious RBM than these. Anyway, what about the secong photo?

RB mergabsers for 1, perhaps a reed bunting for 2, but I can't say more than perhaps.

I'd say Reed bunting for pic 2 as well.
