I finally took the plunge into digiscoping and received my Samsung NV3 and Opticron clam adaptor yesterday.

Really easy to set up on my ES80GA/ED, and I'm quite pleased with my initial results even though it's a very overcast and rainy day and I was shooting through glass.

Nice result , even through the glass. Don't worry too much about the rain. Just put a plastic bag over the camera. Neil.

I won't be far behind you, Des. Got the same camera to attach to our new Kowa scope but I'm a bit slow cottoning-on to new technology. But that photo looked fine to me.

Looks good to me desgreene! I too am hoping to get this camera, but around christmas.
Did you get it from In focus or from Opticron direct?
Adam.

I went in to InFocus at Martin Mere where they showed me the set up. But they didn't have the kit in stock. I ordered it and they sent it a couple of days later.

I guess it may be slightly cheaper to buy the camera separately, but I took the easy route and got everything bundled.

Hi Sandra,
did you buy an adaptor to attach the camera to the scope yet? The Opticron one has different sleeves available to fit most eyepieces and it's very simple to set up, so may be a good one to investigate.

Cheers Neil, I'm hoping for a bit of bright weather over the weekend so I can get some pratice in.
