I've finally got my all-Nikon system put together:
P5100 camera on ...
FSB-6 bracket on ...
30X wide ED eyepiece on ...
82mm FS82A Fieldscope.

The camera/bracket combo can be mounted on the eyepiece quickly for picture-taking (or removed just as easily for birding). Focussing seems to be most accurate when little or no camera zoom is used. There is no vignetting.

The birds below were photographed with the camera's picture-taking mode on "Auto", flash mode on "Disabled", and focus mode on "Macro".

I still have a steep learning curve when it comes to all the possible camera settings. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

That looks like a really great system to me. For anyone wanting to get into digiscoping without the hassle of 'mixing and matching' that looks like the obvious route to take. I presume it would work just as well with the smaller Nikon ED scopes. I guess you are using the DS eyepiece.

The quality of the photos suggest that you should be getting some truly excellent results in the future. Good luck Gord.
