Hi all,

Just thought I'd post a quick reminder for anyone thinking of entering the International Wildbird Photographer of the Year Competition that the closing date is November 30.

We're getting loads of excellent entries from all over the world, but we're slightly disappointed with the quality of entries in the digiscoping category.

So come on all you digiscopers, here's your chance to prove to the world how good you really are! Oh, and there are some excellent prizes to be won as well!

You can find all the info at www.iwpawards.com

Kind regards,

Not that I'd be anywhere near good enough to win anything but for the sake of curiousity I clicked the link and looked at the entry form. Wow. You have to pay to enter.

Entry fee barely covers judging expenses - judges such as Chris Packham don't come cheap. Top prize is £1,500, plus the best part of 10 grand's worth of product prizes split between the categories. For £20, it's got to be worth a punt hasn't it?
