Has any one ever used this bag as hand baggage?

Many Thanks

I use the Expedition 8 and am very impressed with it, in fact I put up a review on it earlier today - http://www.birdforum.net/reviews/showproduct.php?product=243 I can't help with the hand baggage question though...

Like postcardcv I can't comment on the hand baggage question, but I use the Expedition 7 and find it very comfortable.
Everything postcardcv says about the 8 applies to the 7 but clearly it has a slightly smaller capacity. I can still pack into the main compartment a D200 attached to a 300mm f4 + 1.4 TC, a 80-400 vr and still have seven divided areas left for lenses, spare body, flashgun etc. The pockets on the inside of the main compartment flap hold remote releases and a "Better Beamer" type flash extender plus bits and pieces. The outer flap pockets hold memory cards, spare batteries for camera(s) and flashgun and the large front pocket swallows almost anything else including a small folding fishing stool and a small bean bag. No problem carrying, just can't lift it in the first place!
Seriously it's a very good bag.
The trouble is the bigger the bag the more I tend to carry even though in my heart of hearts I know that on most occasions I'll use one camera and a couple of lenses.

If it's worth anything I use the 5. I can only comment on the general build quality and would recommend it to anyone.
I know you specify the 7. but pass this comment on for what it's worth.
