A bit out of my budget, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the following kit, I've seen an offer with the following package.. Nikon D80 plus AF-S DX 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED

(feel free to post some pics with this set up if you have any!)

Can't give you any pics my friend, but if you look in my brothers gallery (Jaff) there are some excellent examples with the 135-400 sigma.

Budgets have a way of inflating over time, as you incrementally spend more in your quest to approach Toy Nirvana. Next year you'll think a D80 is chump change. 3:-)

Well it's taken me less than a year and I'm already thinking of upgrading, I've only had it since April.

Thank you very kindly Matt. Have a look in PM box.

I have the D80 and it is excellent. I'm very pleased with it. It's in danger of relegation to second body status later in the year because I want a D200 or D300, but it is a super camera.
