I have several little digicams that I have picked up over the years which don't have threads for adapters so they don't get used all that often . The best of the bunch is the Sony W100 -

Now that I have the new, improved SRB-Griturn Adapter (thanks to Paul Hackett and SRB ) I was pleasantly surprised again when I took the W100 out for a walk today.
The Leica lens (38 -114 mm ) and the 8 megs 1/1/8 inch sensor ) respond very fast to the requirements of a serious digiscoper and the results speak for themselves.
The Sony was easy to setup on the SRB-Griturn (easier than the F50fd ) and the screen is easier to see in the shade than my Canons.
The Auto focus is a joy to use and it makes me wonder why the Nikons can't be faster.
It's well worth looking at the newer short zoom Sony's for digiscoping if you have a universal-type adapter.

ps the 1st photo was at wide angle and 20x on the zoom eyepiece.
The second and third were around mid zoom in the camera and 20x on the eyepiece and the last image was at 60x on the zoom and mid-zoom in the camera.
Sony W100 plus Swarovski STS80HD scope and SW 20-60 zoom with SRB-Griturn Adapter.
