Hi all.
Having recently bought the Swarovski ATS 65 HD scope with 20-60x zoom (and very nice it is too :t:), can anyone reccomend a digital camera suitable for digiscoping use with this scope for £120 or below?
I currently have a cheap Komaston DC588, which I have tried with the scope, but it produces very poor images.
Any reccomendations?
Many thanks,
Jyothi

Hi
A good starter camera that produces very good images without the initial confusion of loads of settings.

Both same camera just different colour.

Any compact with a 3x optical zoom and a decent lens should to the job just fine. I woudl think you could get either the Samsung NV3 or the Fuji f30/f31 within your budget, both are very popular digiscoping cameras.

Thanks for the info.
Might try Amazon for the Samsung NV3, I like the look of it.
Cheers

Due to an unexpected cash boost from relatives ;), my budget has risen to £200. Does the Samsung NV3 require an adapter? Or is there a better camera/adapter combination within £200?
Thanks

I have recently purchased a Fuji F30 to replace my ageing Coolpix 4500. I am delighted with the camera, even getting acceptable shots at 60x on the scope. To connect camera to scope I use a Foxfoto Universal Bracket and a Swarovski DCA.

I eventully decided on the Samsung NV10, which I am very pleased with. No adapter as yet, but I am getting some reasonable shots.
