Walt, You ask a difficult question here, there are so many cameras that would be suitable, for mine I use a Canon A640, others use Nikon 5100, fuji f31b, and many others, in most cases they will work to a certain extent with any scope. Usually it is regarded that the best features are.
1) zoom range 3 to 4X.
2) Manual modes.
3) Continuous mode.
4) a camera with little noise at the higher iso settings, the Fuji is probably the best in this .
That is generally it, hope it helps. I t does sometimes take a while to get an answer. Have a browse through some of the threads here and see what others are using.

Walt. You are lucky because Olivon make a dedicated Universal Camera Adapter which is designed specifically for your scope. It will accept any compact digital camera with a tripod mounting socket on the bottom. Current favourites seem to be the Fuji F30/F31/F50, Nikon Coolpix P5000/P5100, Samsung NV3 and the Sony W series. Have a look in the digiscoping camera section to see what other people are using.

This link shows a company who can supply the adapter at a good price and it is worth following the link at the bottom of the page for 'digiscopediary' which gives plenty of information about using your scope for digiscoping.

I'm sorry, but what exactly is the problem? You posted a thread, no problems. If you're complaining about lack of response, we can't really do a great deal about that apsect.

Hi Walt,

I'm no expert but I've just got the Nikon P5100 and that seems an easy camera to use but my daughter has the samsung that was mentioned and I tried to talk her out of that one but no joy :-O

This might be helpful

Hi,

I use a Fuji F31FD but I believe they are difficult to get hold of now. The newest model is the F50FD but from what I have heard it is not likely to be as good for digiscoping as the F31FD. Although Neil in Hong Kong has just got one so it will be interesting to see what his results are like.
