Problem viewing video's

Recently wildlifechannel TV has stopped working, all I get is a black screen where the video plays.

It used to work but since then I have upgraded to Media player 11 and have added BBCi player and 4on demand which may or may not be connected.

I have turned off the firewall but no improvement

I tried e-mailing the technical e-mail address but it was returned

Anything else to try?

Hi Mark,

I tested it out last night and mine's fine to watch so it sounds as though it might be something to do with your new Media player 11.

If you still get no reply from Ollie or any other techie how about ditching your Media player 11 and going to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/9series/default.aspx and downloading an earlier one.

Just a thought and may be no good, but could be worth a try. Another thought - why not copy & paste your query and put it on the Computer problems part of the Forum, at least you'll get good response there, help too.

It seems to be a media player 11 problem as my work connection uses media player 9 and it works fine, pity I can't use it at work.
