conpatibility issues with D3's?

Has anyone heard of any incompatibility issues with older Nikon lenses and the D3 body? Professional lenses @ 10-20 years old? >85/1.4, >300/2.8 >500/4?

Nope. As I intend to buy one soon I've been on the look out for D3 issues and so far there appear to be very few.

Asking as a friend of mine has a 300/2.8 AF-s Mk1 which won't work on a D3 but it will work on a D50, D80, D200, D2Hs, D2X and a D2Xs..... Nikon reckon its a fault with the lens.......
