Found a garden escape today that I should know the name of but it escapes me & i do not have any reference books for Garden flowers.

The stem is thin to c 1.5m glossy lime to pale green. The flowers are pink & droop down & the fruit is red berries. It is grown as a shrub which should be cut down to about 12" every year. I think some gardeners call it Pheasant Berry or something similar. I know it is not Tutsan.

I am sure it is in the Hessyon guide to Shrubs But I aint got that!

Hi Colin, I have a relatively new golden leaved form of it called Golden Lanterns.
I have posted a picture of it in my garden to the plant database site under my online name.
