Today I have made my first exit to digiscoping with the swarovski ATS 80 HDs the ocular 20-60s and the adapter DCA to connect the 50mm of my reflex Canon EOS 30D.
50mm......exactly this has been the problematic, I have purchased him new in week really to be able to suit my reflex for the spyglass therefore new of package version f1,8 II because of the attack filters compatible with the system from 52mm to connect him/it to DCA, is a thing ever seen after some photos come badly also besides you/he/she is broken me the optics in two pieces,i make sense of me, you/he/she has opened the anterior part where the external lens there is with the whole part of bad plastics that held him/it, the inside locks are also them of bed plastics and you/they have not held up breaking himself/herself/itself and leaving the whole inside mechanism to sight and that cabbage vabene that costs 100 European however I would never be waited me for a thing of the kind, in short moral of the fable I believe both better to find some 50mm manuals focus old type that I believe is built in then more resistant, at least the nikkors AISs were him/it. I hope that it never happen to none of you but believe him to me he/she remains really of me..to now not sò thing to do and I am a lot of demotivate.
I beg you to give me some suggestion on as to direct me for the solution of the problem

Michele,

Did you use a machine translator? If so, it fails miserably. Complete gibberish.

Michele,

Sorry if I misunderstood your problem. ;)

So the plastic filter threads of the Canon lens cracked when you tried to attach the camera to the zoom eyepiece of your Swarovski?

If the lens is still optically OK, you could try something like this
http://www.unitronitalia.it/microstage.htm

You may see some vignetting (black area around the image circle), but in the 30D you have plenty of pixels to crop out if necessary.
Hope this helps. :t:

Best regards,

Ilkka

Today I have made my first exit...

I can't make head or tail of your post either, but I gather than you have a dSLR, and are using an adapter mechanism to hook your Swarovski up to your prime lens.

In my opinion these adapters are a "second" class solution, and should only be used by people who have no choice - i.e. digicam owners who still want to take serious bird photographs.

If you do have an SLR, get the camera adapter, which allows you to plug your scope directly to the camera. In other words, Swarovski makes and adapter with which you eliminate the occular view finder, and allows the scope to be just another camera lens - albeit with a limited f stop. Limited or not, you will get far more light then by trying to use the eye piece that comes with the scope.

Saluti, to best use the DSLR it will be in prime focus, which is not using the cameras lens,, you will need a T adapter that replaces the lens and will mount dorectly to the scope and not use the scope eyepiece,,

if you read some of the vartious threads on digiscoping with a DSLR you will see some of the camera-scope set-ups used,, it does work and the results can be very good,,

hope this helps,,

With the 800mm camera adapter you shoot at f10 - slow, but still possible to get action shots. And with persistance you can free yourself of using a tripod...

Here's a little action sequence taken at dawn which makes my point... :-O

Wouldn't be possible with the eye piece adapter to a lens...
