Joanne have a look at these - (or have you done this already)?

I recently bought a Droll Yankee pole, with 4 hooks and 2 extension poles from Ernest Charles. (It was an advance Christmas present - the birds couldn't wait until Christmas). I also bought a large seed tray/squirrel baffle - the squirrels haven't managed to get round it (yet).
I'm very pleased with it, and so are the birds! I read recently that niger seed should be put into a feeder specially designed for this purpose. On their rare visits to the garden the goldfinches ignored the niger in a dish on the bird table, so I decided to try this - and within 4 days had two goldfinches on it regularly, and occasionally three. The other hooks carry feeders for peanuts, black sunflower seeds and sunflower hearts.
If you go to the Ernest Charles site, you can look at my set-up - catalogue number GP1 for the pole, SH for the hooks and GST for the seed tray.

I hope you find it as successful as I do - this morning we had FIVE goldfinches feeding there, and the blue and great tits love it. The nuthatch is still using the old feeder, but may well find his way across the garden to the new feeder. Our webcam has been switched to the new arrangement, so I hope the birds will perform!
