Does anyone know of any good places within cycling distance of Colne?

I think there's an E. Lancs. Birders site - google that and see what comes up. I look on this site regularly as I'm only just in Yorkshire so like to know what's around Burnley, Colne etc..

Thanks for the tip-I live about a hundred yards from the Foulridge reservoirs so I'll be paying more attention when I go past next!

Hi, i don't know the area myself and i suppose it depends what you mean by cycling distANce but if you have a look on here (http://www.bikely.com/) , type Colne into the "Find a route near" search box, and hopefully you'll be away

Incidentally I went down today and despite not very much being around I saw, alongside the usuals, a first (admittedly pathetic) tick of Great Crested Grebe couples!
