Can anyone give me any info of where on the internet I can find a list as defined by the UK400 Club. I have a copy of the BOU official list both from the net and in tiny book form but I wanted to compare the BOU list with that of the UK400 Club. The latter is a pay site so without spending money ( Colin comes over all clammy ) I have tried a search engine or two but with no obvious success. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know why you would be interested in the UK 400 list which is a list which I am sure is compiled by one person and judged by his own criteria. As you say his site is a pay site but if you want to get in touch with the club you could e-mail it and ask your question. The e-mail address is:
lgre@uk400clubonline.co.uk
I hope that that is of some help to you.

I was intrigued when I looked at the listing pages on the Surfbirds site where there are lists for everything just about. I noted that most British Lists were using the usual BOU one but with UK400 totals in brackets. The difference is quite substantial in many cases and I just wanted to compare the sub-species/species situation. Yes, I know that it is the opinion of one person but I just wanted to see the result. Thanks for the info John....may see you at Rutters on 8th.

Consider that a certainty Colin. I'm looking forward to it.

Jeff,
Thanks for the info. Last time I looked at that site it didn't quite give the full list but from the personl lists posted there it gave a good insight to the full list.
John,
I emailed as you suggested and got a current list but it is going to be updated for the New Year. Not sure what the changes will be but I now got what I wanted so that I can do a bit of comparing.
Thanks to everyone.

I'm glad the e-mail address helped a little. Good luck with it.
