I have to say I don't much care for warehouseexpress's new webpage design. The old one worked fine (as did the one before that!) and I liked it better than this one.
Why must they keep changing it! End rant. ;)

Not as easy to find items on the new site. The old one was far better.

I think the new website lists "items in stock", but I agree the layout is very poor.

Thought it was just me but annoying when you are say looking for Canon lenses and you get everything with Canon fit. But there again always buy from them, currently waiting for a Canon 40D pluse 400mm F5.6, which should arrive next week and don't have to hand over the dosh until next year, magic!

I'm glad that they've listed whether an item is in stock or not as this was annoying before but I must say the layout is poor compared to what it was - looks like a cheap copy of the Jessops website :eek!:
One example: there doesn't seem to be the tables for the Gitzo tripods like they used to have where you had the specs for every model in a particular range all together for comparison. Now you have to click a link for each model and get each spec seperately.
What's the saying: If it aint broke, don't fix it

I disagree, I find the new website much easier and quicker to use. I can navigate to items much faster and prefer it to the old one.

Been on to have a look for some bits & pieces and cam away very frustrated and not having spent anything. The old site was far more user friendly and intuitive to surf.

Can't see the problem. Its just taken me a few seconds to find two items I'm interested in, one lens and one piece of lighting equipment. And I now know the lens is in stock and the lights are not. Works for me!

I'm with Keith and Paul - I much prefer the new layout and functionality.

I'm in the "Don't like it" camp .... have just mailed to tell them so ..... or at least i tried to .... went to the contact page and clicked on "via email" filled in the dots ..... including "complaint about website", typed my message, sent it, only to receive an automated reply saying that the address i sent it to is not used for customer correspondence?????? and then telling me i should have gone to the "About us" page and clicked on "email us" ..... thought that's what i just did ....grrrr

Just had a look at it and must say I prefer the new layout. Someone mentioned about searching for Canon fit lenses and getting all brands but there is a filter by brand once you reach there - just click the brand you want, could not be much simpler.

Clearly a sensitive website, you hurt its feelings! Type "compliment about website" and send, sure it will go through with a smile.
Website seems quick and easy to me, no problem whatsoever

Interesting. It's a Marmite job!
Answer me this though. Is there some reason they couldn't incorporate these new features without changing the design?
Also, they seem to have scrapped the Bargain Basement, can't find it in the A-Z. You can voice your opinions to them and rate the new design through a link on the hompage if you look. I know what mine will say.
Cheers all.

Horses for courses, I think once you get used to it its ok. When they change it next time everyone will say they preferred the old one.

Tescos do the same thing! It makes you search a little and "accidently" come across new things to buy. Morrisons produce a map so that you know where everything is when they move it. I liked the old look, I like the new. Change for change sake?

I like it. It loads faster and the layout is better.
