Has anyone used a CF-SD adapter to use their SD card in a camera with CF slots? I'm wondering how well they work.

Yes. It isn't the main use for the adapter. For other purposes it appears to work flawlessly. The little I have used it in the camera suggests no problems, but a little slower.
