Found these on warehouse. Does anyone use one and are they any good. Giotto screen protectors.

Never seen or even tried them, but the price tag would be a good reason not even to think about it. 18 British pounds (can't find the icon on my keyboard) !
I agree that scratched LCDs suck, and they will scratch if left unprotected. I used generic plastic stick on thingies for LCD displays on the screens of my D50 and CP 4500. They work, are dirt cheap (compared to the ones above), and image quality is still more then sufficient to quickly evaluate a shoot in the field.
Bought them in a photoshop (10$ for half a dozen sheets)and some as surplus (really cheap!), had to cut them to size (got 2-3 out of a sheet) and replaced them now and then when the edges came unstuck. Still use them on both cameras, the newer D80 came with a plastic cover.
Something to consider.....

Does anyone use protectors on their lcd screens? and can recommend any. Not sure about the flimsy cling film type but the Giottos whilst seemingly expensive at £17.99 are coated glass and permanant.
