Bushnell Elite or Minox HG

I have been reading up on binos for quite a while now. I can't aford the big three right now, but have read some good reviews about these two binos. Some have even said they are very close to the quality of the big 3 at half the price.

Has anyone had the chance to compare these two? I am interested in the Elite 8x43, and the HG 8.5x43.

Which would you chose if price were the same?

Personally I would opt for the Bushnell if for no other reason than the field of view. The Bushnell's is right around 375 feet which is about average for bins at or below this price point (for this configuration). The Minox HG's, though possibly a bit sharper, actually have a much narrower field of view...I forget the exact number but I was thinking somewhere between 315-330 feet. If I were going to go the HG route then I would probably be looking at the 8x33. Its FOV is more competitive with its more expensive counterparts.
