There is not that much information on the Bushnell Legend. I would think they would be decent binocular for the money. I have the Leupold 6x30 Yosemite, well had two really, my brother-in-law took one look through my 6x30 Yosemite and wanted it, had to make him happy you know and then posted on here seller remorse. A kind fellow on here sold me another pair for a very good price. Same QC as the other one I had. BTW I do have other binocuars, Nikon 10x42SE, 7x30 SLC Swarovski, B&L 8x36 Aud. etc. Just go for one of these, let us know.:-)

ScoutMan, Actually Frank D that posts on here was kind enough to offer his 6x30 Yosemite to me at a very good price. This was after I posted to the Leupold forum that I wish I didn't sell mine to my Brother-in-Law. This sample was just as good as the other one I had. There is one small problem with my 6x30 Yosemite, looks like prism is a little in the light path. I never noticed anything at the eyepiece and the Yosemite 6x30 was very close or the same for center field resolution as the Fujinon 6x30, the field was better on the Fuji of course. This was not my Fuji 6x30 and the fellow sold it.

Buy both and tell us how they compare.:-) Like I said there is little info on the Legend, there is more on the 8x42 Legend Roof Prism though.

Steve, do you mind commenting on those Fuji 6x30 bins. What level of optical quality are they?

This site tested the Legend 10X50's and they ranked pretty poorly in comparison to other porro prisms as well as compared to Bushnell's own roof prism models.

Unfortunately they haven't yet tested the Yosemeti's.

The Fuji 6x30 was excellent, too bad they don't make them anymore.

Binoculars.com still offers fuji 6x30,

http://www.binoculars.com/binoculars/hunting-binoculars/6x30arsxbinoculars.cfm

I read that is only multicoated not FMC.

We all need to try optics out for ourselves to see how we like them. One reviewer from New zeland who is a hunter found Porro Legend to be best hunting bin in low price class and actually said to get anything better one has to pay 5 times more.

That is a different 6x30, the one I had to check out was the Fujinon 6x30 FMTR-SX fully multicoated. Field on this model 8°30'. Edit I checked the seller's ad and changed my model numbers to be right.
