Hello,

Moore Nature Reserve is my local patch, and I have seen some brilliant birds there. There is a wide range of habitats, so the reserve attracts lots of different types of birds, and very interesting bird watchers too (o)<

This is my species list so far at Moore, over the last six months (basically since I started bird watching).

As you can see, I’ve had a very enjoyable time. :king:
I’ve seen 86 different species at Moore, that’s more than half of my life list so far. :-O
There have been many more birds recorded there, but I haven’t seen them yet.
So it’s worth going to check out Moore for yourself, you never know what you might see.


On Arpley Tip next to Moore, there are meant to be about 20,000 gulls, including:
Caspian
Kumlins
Glaucous
Iceland
Med
All of the common ones too.
And I wonder what else????????????????????????? ;)

The best days to gull-watch at Moore are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturdays can sometimes be good as well, in the mornings, but the week is better, because that’s when the tip is operating.
