Black Grouse

This Christmas will see me up with the folks in Yorkshire. I shall be out and about all of my old haunts such as Fairburn Ings so I hope to pick up a few birds which are 'difficult' down here.
I haven't see Black Grouse for about 20 years and was wondering if any BF members had directions to any of the Teesdale sites - where to go, where to look etc. Any help much appreciated.

Hi Darrell,

I sent you a PM rather with a couple of spots to check out. There seem to be plenty of them around this year.

I forgot to mention that they have been reintroduced to Wensleydale as well and can be found there pretty regularly too.
