Leica Ultravid BL weight

From the Leica site, the Ultravid BL 10 x 42 lists as 695 grams and the BL 8 x 42 lists as 710 grams and is heavier. Could someone confirm if this is true that the higher powered Ultravid actually weighs less ?

Apparently so - I think the same occurs with the Swarovskis. The optical construction will be different - perhaps the 8x prism is somewhat larger to allow for the increased field of view?

By the way take care over the quoted weights. Leica don't include in the weight of the hefty price sticker the shop applies when you buy them.
