It might be Collybia butyracea more commonly known as Butter Cap. Quite common, and occurs in groups in woods. Cap diameter ~5cm. Flesh rubbery, not brittle. Smell faint/none. Cap surface greasy. Stem tapered from the base, surface smooth, no ring.

Isn't Collybia butyracea red-brown in colour and rarely flat?

The cap is hygrophanous, which is a fancy word that means that it changes colour according to how damp it is. When well damp it is red-brown, but as it loses moisture, it becomes an ivory colour. That is one of the many frustrating things about some fungi: you can't even rely on the colour being constant.
The photo seems to show an umbo (the fancy word for a central bump).
BTW Some authors recognise two forms ie. C. butyracea, and C. butyracea var. asema. The latter is paler when moist.
Mind you, it can be confusing. The latin names of even common fungi seem to be continually changing, as mycologists learn more about them.
