Starling Displays UK

Hi everyone I am new to this so first let me start by saying hello.

I am from the Bolton in the area Manchester not Cumbria, I am hoping someone can tell if starlings are roosting and displaying presently would really like to go and witness, what I can only assume is a, magnificent sight. I would like somewhere relatively local. I have transport so will travel but not more than 10-15 miles if possible.

I hope someone can point me the right direction.

I am not aware of any sites nearto you but I am sure a "local" can advise.

The starling roost I have seen on the Somerset levels reaches its peak in winter December/January.

Try the Widnes bridge during the winter. Not only masses of starlings coming into roost but good chance of Sparrowhawk or Peregrine having a go at them as well
