Kenko DG 1.5X & pro 300 1.4X converters.

Hi,

Dose anyone out there know if there is much difference in IQ beteen these two converters as there is only around £25 difference.

I have a canon 1.4X but that stays on my big prime all the time as it works without being taped.

The 1.4x Pro 300 has 5 elements and the 1.5x has 4. IQ is slightly better with the former but subjective when measured in £'s. It also depends on your final image use I suppose.

If you're patient you can shop around and find second hand 1.4x's for much less than a new 1.5x.
