Hi,
My name is Binnie...sorry I havent got time for all the introductions etc...but need some advice if there is anyone out there who knows anything about feral pigeons.
This year i started feeding wild birds..and now have quite a host of feral pigeons who i feed morning and evening...they are very wary as I have a cat..although very fat and not likely to get them...however this evening when I went downstairs a young pigeon was in my kitchen in the cats water bowl. She didnt appear scared...and we gently coaxed her back outside without any ruffled fearthers at all...however..Steve picked her up and launched her but she just came back down.....then just wandered about the garden for about 30 mins. I was able to simply pick her up again...put her in a large open box on its side so she could walk out if she wished and put her under our porch as I think she was trying to shelter from the rain. Left her there with some food and shredded papaer...3 hours later...she is still there. Have now put her in the shed for the night as she would be easy prey for all the neighbour hood cats. She doesnt look ill......shall I just wait to see if she wants to leave in the morning?
