Today I noticed the very first post from user skandia in germany who bought it for her swaro scope. So it seems to be available now.

Here is the link, I asked her for examples in full resolution.

(my poor translation: "Hello, I ordered the DCM for my Swaro ATS 80 HD. In my opinion the finish of the camera is not high-quality. Handling is easy, but neets time. No saved time and date. Only few sharp pictures out of many unsharp ones. No continuous shooting. Saving Pictures needs a lot of time. I guess one can't shoot really good pictures with this cam. Pics for documentation or post-ID are possible. Here two pics i shot with DCM")

Those two posted photos look very poor, quite a bit of distortion in the glass highlighting low quality optics which is a shame for something that's built for one sole purpose. This problem showed up in the pre production test photos and now again in these from an owner.

I took the Minox/Kowa mount DCM to Cornwall for a week last week and have got a good selection of images from it on a TSN-3 (sorry no Flycatcher, I D-SLR'd that!).

When I'm back in the office on Tuesday (got a show to do tomorrow) I'll add them to the Newpro website and post a link here. We also plan to post an open report about them in general use...:t:

Pete, they are now available we've still got Zeiss and Kowa/Minox in stock. Swarovski & Leica are out of stock at the moment.

Just posted a general report and images from one used on a Kowa TSN3 is Cornwall a week or so ago on the Newpro website.

Click here for link (http://www.newprouk.co.uk) then click on the DCM image link & follow the obvious link on the DCM page.

OK, I wrote it, but it's been written from an honest point of view having been given free rein to do just so.

What you see is what you get from using it with a Kowa TSN-3, a better 'scope should give marginally better results.

ATB,

Dave.
