Hello
Does any one out there have a view on In Focus's Delta Carbon and Delta Super Carbon tripods?
I'm thinking of picking one up on my next vist to Slimbridge but would be grateful of any views from users who've had them for a while.

I have a Velbon Sherpa 1000 carbon fibre scope I bought from a photographic shop in Reading. It hasn't seen heavy outside use, though. Two minor niggles - having screw leg adjustment is more timeconsuming than having snap leg adjustment, and the scope tends to work loose from the quick release plate. Of course I don't know if that is the scope or the plate.

I looked at the Delta carbon fibre tripods a while back and when I came to buying a CF tripod I didn't even bother looking at them again. For very little more you can buy a Manfrotto CF+ 128RC head. I certainly like mine. It's lightweight and very sturdy - which the Delta one wasn't - but the design could have improved since I looked at them 12 months ago.
