Hello all.
Following a request from a digiscoper, I have added features to my 'StereoData Maker' (SDM) programme that may be of interest to members who use certain Canon compact cameras.
The digiscoping page is here http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/sdm/digi.htm
and you can download the software here:
http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/sdm/index.htm
Focus-bracketing around an accurately repeatable reference camera-focus is provided and the capture sequence is initiated with a switch plugged into the USB port.
This can be home-made or a Ricoh CA-1.
The lens automatically zooms to your chosen position.
The viewing-screen does not shutdown after the normal three minute time.
You can log details of the capture sequence and your digiscope setup to a file that is instantly viewable when capture is complete.
An on-screen display shows various computed digiscoping values.
Hope it is useful.
David
