Hi
I have a Canon 28-70 f/2.8 lens which needs attention.
Has anybody got any experiences, good or bad, of either Lehmann, Fixation, or any other "Camera Repairers" which they can pass on to me so that I can choose which one to trust with my lens.:C
Any input will be appreciated,
Regards
Cliff

Hi Rob
Thanks for the information. I did contact Lehmann. They replied very promptly but said that I would have to send the lens to them for a free inspection. I had hoped they could have given me some information about their range of charges brfore I sent the lens to them.

Thank you all for your replies. I sent the lens to Lehmann, they took about a week to look at it because they were very busy. it was disastrous news, the fungus is so bad that the cost of repairing is more than the lens is worth.:C:C:C:C. I was impressed by Lehmann, they did ring me up to porsonally tell me the bad news, and did not charge postage for returning the lens to me.
Merry Christmas to all.B (:
