I just got a sony W120 as a Christmas present. It just happened to come with a 46mm camera adapter. Using a 46 to 43mm step down ring, I attached the camera to a Pentax XW 20/Pentax PF 80A. There is some vignetting at wide angle, but tapping the zoom to X1.2 position eliminates the vignetting.
These are the settings I used:
P mode, AF iluminator OFF, Flash OFF, ISO 100, CWA metering, center focus, Auto White balance, standard color mode, burst mode. I used the self timer set to 2 secs, It fires 5 shots with one push.
The following pictures are uncropped and resized and compressed, with no other process aplied to them.

Hey that's a cool setup! What kind of shutter speeds are you getting at the various focal lengths?

Hi Rick. the speed varies with the amount of light. The examples with branches range from 1/20sec to 1/4 sec (at maximal optical zoom). the finch was shot at 1/100-the camera set up the aperture to f8 automatically.

Thanks. What ISO would this configuration need to get shutter speeds of 1/60 to 1/250?

Not sure. I'm just learning about the camera. I need to fegure out a way of keeping the aperture wide to improve speed. will let you know. jose
