These have been mentioned on BF before, and having seen Joe's picture, I reckon there would be less spillage from this than from my Droll Yankees niger feeders.

Unfortunately I have not been able to trace them in the UK, so I have emailed an American company, to see if they would supply some to me.

Hi Elizabeth,

I know what you mean about the horrendous mess (and waste?) from niger spillage in a "dedicated" feeder.

Although I haven't seen this photo before, I have heard on BF about using a bag rather than a feeder.

Today I have bought three red fine mesh seed bags (from which I shall decant the seed into the seed feeder) with the intention of filling the bag with niger.

I'll try to remember to keep you posted on the results!
