Ok, my wife is getting definitly tired that I seem to have now the exclusivity our wedding present from her sister (a simple panasonic Lumix LS series) for various not so respectfull activities, such as digibinning and digiscoping ("but, honey, this little camera fits particularly well in my nikon monarch 8*40", but she does not really buy this). So it seems that I will have to buy my own.

Although I had relatively good successes with this tiny camera, I am naturally looking forward to get something better, if possible. In particular, these new superzoom cameras seems to be very attractive for a birder like me who does not necessary want to carry 10 pounds of equipement.

My question is : is there a superzoom camera who could still make a good job in digiscoping, or should I buy two camera? I use my pictures mostly for my records, although I don't mind a good picture there and there.
