hello and a happy new year :t:

some info on my bird lens

skywatcher ed 80-600mm f7.5 (astronomy refractor)

works well naked or with 1.4 /2xtc and stacked

in order 600mm / 600 +2xtc / 600 +1.4tc / 600 + stacked

i know it has'nt got af and its heavy but lighter than canon.
and now i have the bigma back from repair but id rather have the scope?

and keep the bigma for bifs ( or do i ) osprey taken on the scope in suffolk 2008.

An excellent collection of pics, every one sharp and well exposed. Would it be possible for you to post a pic of your scope and camera setup? I would be interested to see what it looks like.

Photos like this make me want to slingshot my rig into a lake. Excellent. What's the "keeper" rate for photos? Manual focus and slow apertures are very difficult for me.

That's interesting as I have a 4-inch f10 Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain astro telescope which I am thinking of attaching my 40D to to make a 1000mm lens.

How is the camera attached to it?
