What adaptor did they provide with the scope. Is it the Vortex universal adaptor (or a variant of it), or some other adaptor that they designed? Does the adaptor require the camera to use a t-ring, or does the camera attach via a screw?
You can try contacting Eagle Optics to get their suggestions on the type of camera appropriate for their adaptor (though, they may just tell you a small point and shoot with a zoom lens no bigger than 3X or 4X).

It's a hollow tube with a screw mount on both sides that fits onto the
eyepiece.
I also emailed Eagle Optics and they told me that I would need a SLR
camera to use this adapter or buy a t-ring for other cameras.
I checked out a Vortex universal adapter and that seems to be the way
to go with my scope, without buying a expensive SLR
Thank you,
Darrell
