Starling Flocks around the Midlands

Does anyone know of any good places to watch the starling flocks around the East Midlands / Midlands? I know it's not the best time of year right now but if anyone knew of anywhere in the midlands that was still good to see it would be really appreciated!!! Hope this thread is in the right place! |>|

Depends how far you want to travel to see them, by far the most spectacular starling flocks I have witnessed are at Aqulate mere just off the A41, there is a public hide there and I have seen some pictures of enormous flocks which roost in the reedbeds there.
