Hi all,

Hope you can help? I am visiting Devon in April and staying in a cottage in Cawsand. I would like some pointers as where to go for day trips so as to get the most out of the area. I will have transport, binos, spotting scope etc but would probably only have ONE full day to myself for dedicated birdwatching. What I will do is encourage the family to get on their bikes and do some "picnic rides" and, naturally I'd bring my equiptment with me.

So....Here's looking forward to loads of advice.

Don't want to be unhelpful, Pete, but Cawsand and the Rame Peninsula are in Cornwall, so maybe post in that sub-forum? That said, it is only just over the border, so hopefully you'll get some Devon advice. I only really know the Exe area, which is a long way from Cawsand.

You are quite right. I was a bit dim there, so I've posted in the right area now. Thanks for your info. I can't wait for my visit.
