Hi, I have purchased my 1st scope (Opticron ES80 GA), Its in fact the ED version, I also got a Coolpix 4500 & eagle eye adapter for It, but I find the screen on the 4500 too small & want to upgrade my camera, but I need one that will fit my eagle eye adapter because the camera screws into the eagle eye adapter. Can anyone recommend such a camera for me?
Regards.
Sean..

The Eagleye adapter for the Coolpix 4500 uses a 28mm thread to mate with the camera lens thread. The Nikon Coolpix P5100 offers a 28mm screw thread when used in conjunction with the Nikon UR-E20 adapter, so that's your easiest and possibly best option.

Sean, people told me that it was not possible to use the Panosonic FZ50 for Digiscoping, but I disproved that. So don't say never, for with some forethought and a bit of DIY anything is possible. But I would say that it is more possible using an astronomical type scope. Ernie
