Hi All,

I wonder if anyone knows how to get too Marbury country park from Warrington via a Bus service?

Also where should I go once there? I have heard there is a Hide in some woods is there anywhere else I should be looking out for, best spots etc etc.

Any help would be great...

Thanks

James

I know there is a bus that goes very close (dont know the number though). If no one has the answer and you can't find out by phoning the depot I know someone who travells on it and can find out for you.

As you go in from the main gates there is a long drive leading to the visitor centre and there are free maps showing the walks and bird hides. (Also has a toilet block which is very handy).
There is a hide by the mainlake and you should see Kingfisher there-you will definitely see Nuthatch. There are several other hides within walking distance.
There are literally miles of nice walks from there-enjoy:t:

Thank you David and Mike for the Info :)

I will call the Bus Depot tomorrow and see which Bus I should get and also post here the number in case someone else stumbles across this thread.

Looking at the Map online this looks like a big place with plenty of interesting areas I think my 8gig will be overheating ;)

Thanks again.

James
