Anyone know where to find bitterns in Cornwall?

Marazion Marsh is probably your best bet. They are usually there to the end of this month.

When I was there a couple of months ago it flew from Long Rock Pool to the main reed bed at dusk. You may just strike lucky and see it during the day but your best bet would be to stand on the road between the two and wait until it decides to go to roost. That's if it is still there. A Bittern sighting was reported at Stithians Reservoir yesterday ... no reports today tho.
