What brand of TC?

Hi,

I am strongly considering getting a nikon 300 f4 af-s for my D200. I will definitely want a 1.4x TC, and might end up getting a 1.7x later on (I would only use that in really good light). What brand of each would give the best image quality?

The Nikon TC-14e is streets ahead of the many third party tc's out there & in my opinion worth the extra. IQ is really not affected & on the lenses i have used one on, af has not slowed much.
