Dear All,
Does anyone have any experience of these lenses?
Is the auto focus mechanism quick, accurate and smooth?
All inputs and information are much appreciated!!!
Cheers,
WW

Hi Trev,
I wish I could do that in Penang, Malaysia.
I have never seen either one is on display here at local retailers and only a confirm buyer with deposit, the retailer will bring it in.
Even a small accessories such as a right angle viewing (DR-5) never come after giving a deposit for more than 1 month.
The worst thing is there is always no stock on a simple filter for my 24-70 lens, I am always asked to buy either Hoya or Kenko.
Hope Nikon Penang will do a better job in the future:-O:-O:-O
Cheers,
WW

I have used the 600/4 VR since december last year and I simply love it. Such a step from my old AF-S 300/2.8 (non-VR), heavy and bulky but way sharp and AF is super fast and smooth. If you have the money to spend...donŽt hesitate, youŽll love it!
Both attached images is taken with the 600/4 VR and 1.4x TC. The kingfisher with D200 and hawfinch with D700.
