Went for a drive with the missus at the weekend and got upto Beacon Fell at about 10:30am on the Sunday. Parked up at one of the laybys up Beacon Fell, the one before you can see out over the cost to have a beautiful view of a Male Hen Harrier flying around the fields.
Watched him for about ten minutes until he flew straight towards us and into the trees. 5 minutes later he re-appeared, swooping here there and everywhere. AWESOME SIGHT!!!
Hope to get myself back on Marton Mere this coming monday if anyone is around ill be the one with the skinhead and goatee beard (not your typical birder look ahahahaha)
