Calling Alan Crane

Does anyone know a birder called Alan Crane who has spent some time birding in Washington state & has shown a birder from that area around in the UK? Sorry, a look at the above web site shows no Washington list but Vancouver/BC and or Oregon (which both abut Washington) might be worth trying if you are desperate!
