Hi I have a bird box in my garden & this year (after 10 years with no luck!) there are a pair of great tits very interested. The smaller of the two is often inside the box & is constantly pecking at the sides (sounds like a woodpecker & as loud) Can anyone tell me why they do this? I'm not a twitter but am very interested in birds. Thanks Beth:t:
