After an abandoned morning with fellow BF'er colin j, the wind still hadn't abated but at least the sun came out this afternoon so I cycled up to Fishers Marsh, probably the only place worth the effort in such a wind as it has some lee shelter.

A small stream of incoming Lesser Black-backed Gulls battling against the headwind & 4 Little Egret going upriver plus a few pairs of Oystercatcher, some Turnstone, Dunlin etc. 1 Rock Pipit which i id'd from the sharp 'Sip' call as it flew off.

As for the outbound migrants there are still a small few Lapwing about, and many of the Greater Black-backed Gulls seem to have decamped into the marshy fields joining the Curlew and Golden Plover.

Only about an hour as it was hard work .. but better than daytime tv
