Hello everybody,
These were taken in the Pyrenees (near Argeles) in the end of the summer of 1994 with an analog videocamera. I'd like to know what the flowers and insect are called (preferably in Latin). Thanks in advance.

Not certain on any of these, but to start off I'd say that the last one looks similar toMalvus sylvestris Common Mallow
The first two are in the order Compositae but I'm not confident enough to put a name on either - possibly either some form of Filago or Artemisia for the first and Centaurea for the second
The third could be a Convolvulus of some sort
No idea on the fourth! - an orchid, perhaps?
The one in your other posting looks very much like the fruit of an Arum (Araceae) species - the only one I know in the UK is Arum maculatum but its fruits are usually bright red.
Sorry I can't be more positive - hopefully someone will know a lot more about these than I do. - I shall have to get myself a better flower book before I set off into the mountains again!

Well there's something wrong in the 'Italics' somewhere! Not sure where I've gone wrong - it looks OK in 'edit'
Anyway it doesn't affect the information in the posting
