Hello all

I have just recently joined bird forum and this is my first post. I am an electronics engineer by trade. I am developing GPS logger for birds, its going to be a tiny little device, weighing only about a gram. I hope it would be much more informative than a band or ring, as it will tell not ony where bird is but where it has been all this time. I have come to this forum so I can get birders view about such technology. If this is not a place for such discussion then please let me know. I am open to all sorts of critisism and points of view.
